Just read this on Portsmouth-dailytimes.com. Ohio’s reduction of juveniles being sentenced to prison seems to have increased violence rates at youth prisons. Statistically compared to adult prisons the youth facility has seen more violent attacks. A youth specialist at a juvenile prison advises they have received the worst possible juveniles which caused the increase in violence. Lack of discipline in these youth prisons and dangerous conditions make it tough on the teens and prison staff.
