As of August 28, 2012, veterans in Missouri can have a Veteran designation on their drivers’ licenses or state ID cards. There are requirements and documents they would need to provide, such as a copy of their DD-214. They would also have to pay the fees for their license or card. The word “Veteran” will be printed inside a ribbon on the back of their card. Veterans can go online at http://dor.mo.gov/faq/drivers/veterans.php for more information. They can also call 1-866-VET-INFO, go online at http://www.mvc.dps.mo.gov/service/serviceofficer/, or go to their local Veterans Service Organizations for assistance.
