I just read an article on Hilltopviewsonline.com that I thought you should read. Police officer discusses campus safety and the precautions that should be taken. Students, often new to living on their own often put to much trust in the world and the people around them. The reason behind this is because they are just now figuring out what it is to live alone without that safety net their parents have provided. Often students will leave doors open, they will leave money laying around, and they are sometimes in the presence of complete strangers. With the economy like it is and cities growing crime is up. Students need to avoid leaving doors unlocked and they need to be mindful of the people around them.
