Interesting article posted on Theaustralian.com.au. Macquarie University is getting into trouble for giving out personal data about their employees and their students to the Commonwealth Bank contractor, which is creating the universities new campus cards. The Office of Privacy Commission has turned down Macquarie’s internal review findings saying they did not break the NSW Privacy Act by giving information out to a third party.
