I just read an article on Cnet.com that might interest you. The Obama Administration is hoping that wireless GPS tracking will be available without authorization of a search warrant when the GPS devices are put on cars to track their whereabouts. Critics, however, contend that this a violation of the Fourth Amendment, and the Court has made an ambiguous ruling last year regarding this issue.
