This blurb on the ‘Campus Safety’ website — with a link to the full article from The Daily Camera, an online Colorado newspaper — reports how the Colorado University Board of Regents recently met to consider changing its policies to require that university officials immediately notify the Board of potential scandals and criminal behavior on campus. This was felt to be necessary in the wake of the Penn State scandal, and the Aurora movie shootings by a CU graduate school dropout. Several years ago, the Board similarly reformed the university’s athletic program after a football recruiting scandal and resultant lawsuit.
