Interesting article posted on Chimes.biola.edu. Trusting students have been conned out of cash four times in the last four years, according to an item posted on Biola University’s web site. Students have been swindled for amounts ranging from $80 to $300, according to campus security. The incidents usually involve the students being approached at an off-campus location by a man saying he needs money to buy medicine for his child. Once the student takes money from an ATM machine, the man disappears. The advice from campus security is that if an unknown man or woman approaches you asking for money, simply walk away.
