Here’s an article worth a read posted on Latimes.com. Congress is unable to bring gun legislation to the table. States, on the other hand are grappling with the issue. The Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre has prompted California, Colorado and Connecticut to pass bills that dramatically increase gun control. However, States such as Ohio, Michigan and Arkansas have enacted laws that strengthened gun owners’ rights. It would seem at first glance that individual states have a consensus for what is right for them regarding gun laws with a similar consensus that is not shared nationally.
