A washingtonpost.com article recently reported Cody Wilson was ordered by the State Department to take the blueprints of the plastic gun off the web site. The gun, which looks like a water pistol but fires a .380-caliber bullet, was almost entirely made on a 3-D printer that can fabricate solid objects from blueprints. The State Department’s request came after instructions on how to make the gun were downloaded 100,000 times.
