South Carolina, a state that has one of the strictest voting laws, will have its closing arguments on September 24 regarding voter ID. With the November 6 election being so close, South Carolina and three other states, Ohio, Texas, and Pennsylvania have ruled on their voting laws. The question under scrutiny was whether their voting laws discriminated against minorities and went against their fundamental right to vote.
