Just read this on Martinsvillebulletin.com. A retired police officer is leading a safety program about thinking and mentoring kids. With so much bad news surrounding cops these days this is great news story. Retired police officer Lenny Noel was hired in early 2012 as a counselor at a school. Mr. Noel has been speaking at schools and working side by side with students mentoring and guiding. He works with students doing a variety of services such as building benches and cleaning up areas. In the future as a team they will be writing and filming anti bulling videos. This retired officer is really making a difference.
