Jeffersonville High School is getting tough on tardiness with a new tracking system purchased on Tuesday. School officials are hoping this will put an end to the 25,000 tardies each year. This is tracked by the student id card which is scanned into the system and tracked via computer and generated into reports. It is expensive, but other school systems using this have already seen a fifty percent decline in tardiness.
