I just read an article on Nytimes.com that might interest you. The article discusses if gun owners should be required to buy insurance. With the gun control debate being on the top of politicians minds these days, lawmakers from six states are proposing for gun owners to have to buy liability insurance if they own a gun. The theory is that the owner would be more responsible with their firearm. Pro-gun groups oppose this because they believe gun owners should bot need insurance for their constitutional rights.
