Helping others comes naturally to Eagle Scouts, as recently demonstrated by a project in La Grange, Illinois. On June 25, Eagle Scout Chad Holland created emergency medical cards for seniors at the Plymouth Place retirement center. Chad got the idea when he was babysitting and a parent left a card with emergency contact information. After starting out creating cards for children and their parents, he thought that seniors could benefit from the same type of card.

Chad created over 100 cards in two hours and delivered more to some seniors after he resolved some computer and printer problems.
