Check out this blog post on Beckershospitalreview.com 5,600 hospital patients are being notified that they could be the victims of a security breach. According to the Carolinas Medical Center-Randolph in Charlotte, N.C., most of the information did not contain patient information. Between March 11 and October 8 an intruder obtained emails, five of which did contain personal patient information. There has been no evidence that the information obtained has been used illegally.
