Just read this on Usnews.nbcnews.com. The city of Aurora. Illinois which is a suburb of Chicago, has decided to give each police officer a $500 bonus at the end of the year of there are no murders for 2013. The city council voted on this and has approved it. It will cost the city $144,500 if the goal of no murders is met. Chicago has had a terrible time with murders during the past year, so the suburbs are trying to prevent that from spreading to them.
